Our GE always manages to track down the coolest little jackets, so it is no surprise she named this drool-worthy tweed version from Girl. by Band Of Outsiders as her top pick for the season. While Byrne called out its cropped cut and classic shape, the rich jewel tones and metallic-like thread are also worth noting. Styling suggestion: "It's perfect with a pair of jeans," Byrne says.

Zara Tie Print Shirt with Contrasting Collar ($80)
Though Byrne professed her love for polka-dot blouses—"I have a recent love affair with all things spots because they can jazz up an outfit easily"—she also noted this silky top from Zara as one of her favorites. "It's very cool," Byrne says, and with its visually intriguing geometric print and contrast lining, we couldn't agree more!

B Brian Atwood Francoise Crystal-Detail Suede Platform Pumps ($395)
A quick look at Byrne's repertoire will tell you that the actress is a connoisseur when it comes to black heels. "I have many pumps, but invariably always end up with a simple black pump, as it's the most flattering and cool," Byrne says. Accordingly, she selected this jazzed-up style from the current B Brian Atwood collection. Black crystals embellished on the platform and heels make them ideal party shoes!

It's just a hunch, but we have a feeling Byrne would style them with a chic button-up and black pumps for a casual fashion fete.

Favorite Party Looks
When it comes to dressing up for a soiree, Byrne turns to the F/W 12 runways for inspiration. "It depends on the party, but Look 21 at Chanel is so chic and downtown-I would feel cool and comfortable," Byrne says. However, if the party in question was on a much bigger, fancier scale, she would definitely reach for Valentino's gorgeous Round Neck Sleeveless Gown with Multicolor Embroidery ($25,0000, available at Valentino boutiques).

Favorite Runway Look
When we asked Byrne about her favorite runway look, she surprised us with her answer: Look 39 from the Marc Jacobs F/W 12 show, which is comprised of the Berry and Dark Gray Mink Mont Blanc Hat ($6900, 212.343.1490) paired with the Berry Boucle Lame Double Breasted Jacket ($2000, 212.343.1490), Black Boucle Lame Skirt ($875, 212.343.1490), and Ivory Boucle Lame Pants ($975, 212.343.1490). "It is so theatrical, whimsical, and fabulous-it takes fashion to the fantasy where it lives," Byrne says. "I was lucky enough to see that show, and I was totally transported."

We first noticed Byrne's penchant for statement earrings at the Academy Awards earlier this year, when she expertly finished her sequin Vivienne Westwood gown with a pair of chic Chanel shoulder-grazers.
